Since August 2001, there is a dive base,
only known by the few divers, who came to Lombok, in the
most southern part of Lombok. The Indonesian Company „Indonusa“,
in cooperation with the Australian resort owner, offer dive
tours in the Belongas Bay. Even a complete dive holiday
is possible. |

Four beautiful and easy teakwood
bungalows, enough for 14 guests are prepared for the
visitors. Two of the bungalows ( Superior-Bungalow)
are equipped with double beds and hot water. The two
others ( Standard-Bungalow)
have a double bed and three bed rooms. All the rooms
have a view on the ocean and there is a marvelous
view on sunset from the terraces. |

The bungalows offer full board
witch a delicious Indonesian
cuisine. Fresh fruit and vegetables are bought
in Mataram on special request of the guests. Fresh
fish is offered by the fishermen who make a stop in
the bay. |

The resort lies in a nearly
closed bay and can be reached after a 10 minute
trip by small boat from Sepi.
For non divers this is a paradise witch white sand
beaches where they can relax, swim or snorkel. |

Treking
tours to the nearly hills are also possible, there
the local people grow Soya beans, peanuts and rice.
From here you can enjoy a magnificent view
on the rocky seashore, the small islands in front
of it, the curved coastline and kilometers of sand
beaches.

It is a real adventure to sail
out with the local fishermen to catch fish. It is
possible to board on of there boats and it's a fascinating
feeling to catch a Tuna
or other kind of fish. |

The dive base has the dive equipment
for rent, 12 liter Alu tanks with INT contacts (200
bars) and an L&W compressor. There is a speed
boat available with 2 x 85 HP engine. To time are
offered 14 dive
sites. For the time being no diving education
are given. These diving educations are offered in
Senggigi or on the Gilis. |

The dive take place from the boat and
after every dive you will be taken back to the base. Most
of the dive spots are reachable within 15 minutes. There
are possible of 4 dive depatures included a night dive.
Where 8 divers and 2 guides maximum can board the speed
boat.

The furthest dive spot – Magnet
– can be reached within 25 minutes by boat. It
is a Rock in the open sea and is the visiting place
of Hammerhead
shark-, Barracuda-
and schools of Tuna
fish. It is possible that you meet Eagle
rays, Mantas
or Sunfishes.
This dive spot has sudden strong currents and waves,
therefore only experienced an Advanced licensed divers
with at least 50 dives are allowed to dive. |

The other dive
spots give the possibilities to divers with less
experience and the spots wait for them with a breath
taking of the coral
world and fish richness. The Manta school of up
to 50 numbers, till paradise for Macro photographers
and cave lovers. These places give all possibilities
starting from the underwater world stretches it out
on Rocky bottoms to bigger Rock formations and here
and where varying with depths of 10 till 50 meters. |

On the shore there are still a lot of
spots where nobody dived before and divers who are interested
can dive here as well!
Divers who think that they have seen everything can find
here an untouched underwater paradise with an undestroyed
underwater world and everything in an ideal resort, far
from the haste and hectic of this world.
